John Stanovcak, director of business development at NobelBiz (News - Alert), a facilities-based carrier providing value-added telecommunications services to high call-volume clients operating over 500 contact centers and collection agencies worldwide, has become head of Jobs4America council for the Professional Association of Customer Engagement (PACE.). Jobs4America is a coalition of forward-looking business leaders committed to creating jobs in America. Other members of the council include-Karin Hall, CSO of QCSS, Inc., who will serve as membership promotion chair; Linda Pavelecky, consumer direct sales/customer service at MTD Products, who will serve as distribution chair and Jeff Sheehan, senior vice president of Site Selection Group (News - Alert), LLC, who will serve on membership promotion. Besides them, Tom Scott, EVP Corporate Development for CallAssistant, will serve as public relations chair; Haytham Hermiz, vice president of operations of Citadel Systems, will serve as Operations Chair and Michele Shuster, JD, CIPP/US, of Mac Murray, Petersen & Shuster LLP, will serve as regulatory advisor. As a former Chapter President of PACE and working with Ohio state officials, John Stanovcak has seen the doors open much easier than in the past to discuss economic development within the contact center industry. He has also witnessed what cities/counties are willing to do in order to bring these contact center jobs to each of their regions. Phil Grudzinski, CEO of PACE, said that despite all of the downward spiral in the US economy in the recent years, the contact center industry is one of the few workplaces that was not only hiring but on many occasions was hiring hundreds of people at a time and helping the economy recover. “With the help of our members we can continue to increase our numbers and hit our goal of 100,000 contact center jobs,” said John, in a statement. He highly encourages people to reach out to him and see how they can get started.
