This election season, many people are keeping a close eye on unemployment rates. For most, the numbers are disheartening, as unemployment isn’t shrinking at a fast enough rate to give people confidence in the economy. That’s not to say that companies aren’t hiring. In fact, one company in Spokane, Washington, is gearing up for a new round of hiring for its call center. Sound Telecom, a provider of 24-hour telephone answering, call center and cloud communications services, is hiring call center agents for its Spokane, WA facility. Due to the addition of several new accounts, the company hired 13 new agents for its call center – a nice sign for Sound Teleom, which was cited by Inc. as one of the 5000 fastest-growing privately held businesses in the country. “We are bristling with calls!” Spokane-based director of operations John Dubay said in a recent statement. “Because of the quality of work that we provide, we have added a large number of new customers and we need to keep pace with the demand. This last month has been an exciting growth period for the company.” Other executives for the company highlighted what makes Sound Telecom different from other providers. “We are the local solution,” noted chief operations officer, Brian Gabriel. “Our Spokane facility offers customers the advantage having of high-caliber customer service agents represent their businesses 24/7.” Washington currently sports an 8.6-percent unemployment rate, which is slightly above the national average.
